  • Incoming MTA

All incoming MTAs should be forwarded to Alice McKay-Hill (email: Alice McKay-Hill; tel: 01865 (2)87972) in Research Services together with an MTA Information Form available from the Research Support website - please note you will need your single sign on to access the MTA page. Research Services needs to know who will be using the materials (especially any student or non-University employees), for what research purposes (it should be indicated if the research will form part of a student's thesis) and how the research using the materials is funded. The MTA Information Form must be signed by the PI, if necessary, before forwarding to Research Services. A copy of the form should be sent to the Administration Team. If there are any health and safety issues then the documentation should be reviewed by the Centre's Health and Safety Officer and the MTA Information Form signed to confirm approval.

  • Outgoing MTA

Research Services will draft agreements to govern the transfer of material to another academic or non-profit organisation for their internal research use. The Principal Investigator should complete an MTA Donor Form to help Research Services prepare the agreement. The MTA Donor File should be sent to Alice McKay-Hill in Research Services (email: Alice McKay-Hill; tel: 01865 (2)87972) to draft the agreement and negotiate with the organisation. A copy of the form should be forwarded to the Administration Team.
